GTX 1080 slow on sierra!

I just bought a new gtx 1080 (msi) but i think that its not performing up to the mark and i am worried a little bit. Following are my scores_

FPS=90.6
SCORE=3789

Min FPS=8.5?
Max FPS=164.9

i ran this benchmark on extreme hd preset.

There is some thinking that the nvidia drivers require some further maturity - there are other noticing small glitches and some reasonably minor issues that suggest that the drivers are not yet getting these cards working at their best. Give nvidia some time to address these issues and we should see better all round performance functionality over the next few driver updates. At least these new cards are now working in macOS which is a big step forward.
