graphics card for 4k monitor

Hi guys what would be a good, "get at least" graphics card for my build for using a 4k monitor. I have a benq bl2711u that i'm currently running at 2560 x1440 with my 12' macbook air. wanna kick it up a notch with my hackintosh build. Would the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 be enough?
