Hi there
This is my first hackintosh-attemp ... I could successfully launch Mountain-Lion (see the steps I did below).
first, things that bother me / don't work
- the two fans of my graphic-card are running at full speed the whole time (worst problem right now)
- I couldn't test my graphic-card right now (steam-account is downloading), but my cinebench results (opengl - 18bps/ cpu 2,9) aren't good enough for my system..I think
- some USB-ports don't work (front)
second, my system:
INTEL Core I7-2600K 3400MHz LGA1155
MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk - Grafikkarten - GF GTX 560 Ti - 1 GB
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 - 1.3 - Motherboard - ATX - LGA1155 Socket - Z68
Corsair Vengeance Memory - 16 GB : 4 x 4 GB - DIMM 240-PIN - DDR3
OCZ Agility 3 Series Solid-State-Disk - 240 GB - SATA-600
Corsair Vengeance C70 - Midi Tower - ATX
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 - Stromversorgung - 750 Watt
third, how I installed the os-x
I updated the Bios to f10 (should i have used U1g(UEFI BIOS)? Is this better?)
Made a bootable usb-stick with UniBeast - Mountain Lion, in Bios klicked on optimized settings, changed se IDE to AHCI-mode, installed Mountain Lion,
booted into Mountain Lion (no probs so far), downloaded multibeast for MountainLion and the DSDT file for my motherboard (on desktop - DSDT-GA-Z68XP-UD3-F10.aml), in multibeast I klicked on UserDSDT... and on ALC889 Codec in Audio and on Network on the lnx2macs... for my Realtek RTL8111E.
So far everything runs smooth... but how can I tell, that the components are running at full speed, every driver is installed etc ...?
Have I missed an important setting?
Thank you very very much for your advices/help
edit: Geekbench Score 32bit-Test: 5464
