Oh I see! But why HDR/DisplayPort still works on RX 590 & Big Sur?

I have HDR / DP working on RX580 & Monterrey, but I switched it off cos the colors are too vivid

Yes and no. My OC 0.7.9 EFI works. My OC 0.8.0 kills both TB and Ethernet. So, I'm going to peel back the onion a few layers to find out what's going on.

BTW, I undeleted my previous post # 1477. Please take a look at to see if you see anything that stands out to you. TIA.

Hi! Im trying to do a big sur fresh install in my new build: aero vision g ddr5 bios version f3, i7 12700k, radeon rx 5700
I setup The bios as described in The first post of this Thread but my installation stop at The same point using both oc 0.7.8 And 0.8.0
Can anyone help me ? Thanks!

Just updated bios to f6b
Now installation stop at this point

Just Removed The fenvi card And out The pendrive in an old good usb 2.0 port…

I just installed the GC-Maple Ridge into my Z690 Aero G. The configuration is as follows:

• GC-Maple Ridge in middle slot with 9-pin USB header connected to motherboard and 5-pin Thunderbolt header connected to motherboard
• Monterey 12.4 beta 3
• OpenCore 0.8.0
• Using the attached SSDT-MAPLE-RIDGE-RP05-V2B.aml

I did a cold boot after installing the GC-Maple Ridge with no Thunderbolt devices connected. After logging in to macOS I connected the OWC 14-port dock. After about 5-6 seconds it hot-plugged without any problem.

Ethernet on the dock and Ethernet on the motherboard are both working.

The OWC dock is also working.

So please try the attached SSDT along with a cold boot.

After installing OC in the boot HD efi folder i followed the suggestion of post #1 at step 9 for the final adjustments.
I chose in ACPI section "SSDT-UIAC-Z690-AERO-G-ALL-PORTS.aml" with "XhciPortLimit" quirk but in this configuration HS02 & HS04 USB 2.0 ports doesn't works; I use to connect my keyboard here to avoid to fill all my SS ports so it is important for me.
OC version 0.7.8 and also 0.8.0
I tried to edit AML file but nothing changed.
Does anyone fighter with this problem?

There seems to be a BIOS problem that prevents HS02 and HS04 from working. We haven't found a solution at this time.
