The Safe Way for Rollback and a .zip folder with that Utilitie is possible ?

Re: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 U1H Bios testing

I have the same board and revision and U1h is leaps and bounds better than any of the previous bioses. I no longer have to use a DSDT my machine boots much faster and sleep and shutdown and restart work natively. (previously the bios took longer to boot than my install on ssd) I would highly recommend anyone with this board to upgrade.

Here is a video my my boot time
OSx is rocket stable at 4.5 gig. The bios is alot better to navigate and is much quicker.

The question is.. why on 10.7.3 no need SSDT and 10.7.4 need it ?
i Think that is the key.

Hi guys... Nothing to add except my encouragement. I'm very interested in this topic as I'd like to upgrade my bios to U1H but I'm too much of a chicken to live that close to the edge. Better let you guys figure this one out first.

Looks like we have one success and one "could be way better" result. It's encouraging.

For sure..

Is it better to have a rollback on 10.7.3 powermanagement maybe ?

Re: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 U1H Bios testing

no, you can just inject the proper SSDT table with an SSDT.aml file.

You have a SSDT to work to 4.2GHz on UEFI ?

Re: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 U1H Bios testing

I'm loving it!

System is rock stable using stock 3.4 ghz on i7-2600k.

As mentioned earlier audio (I have a USB card so doesn't really bother me) does not work and overclocking results on getting locked at 16x. I am not that worried atm as stock speeds are more than enough for my needs for the time being... I am sure some one smart will resolve these issues. May be a final release...

It fixed my problems with lagging of bluetooth magic mouse and apple wireless keyboard.

And best of all no more annoying "disk was not ejected properly..." stupid message that used to come up...

Couldn't be any happier at this stage. Sleep works (still have to use PleaseSleep), system is stable and no problems when waking up.

Thanks to every one for their contribution!
