Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

I am currently using the two M.2 slots, one Samsung 970 Evo Plus for Windows and the other for MacOS, but this SSD M.2 TB3 is a VM that I use a lot.

I use my "Bootcamp" drive for my virtual machine.

Since macOS is on an internal M.2 slot you should be able to test whether the Thunderbolt card is the cause of your macOS 11.3 problems.

If it turns out that the Thunderbolt card is indeed what's causing you problems and all you need Thunderbolt for is extra M.2 drive, you can just use something like the following:

These can be found for around $10-20 bucks and don't require any drivers.

So, I'm using the two M.2 slots from Gigabyte Z390M Gaming, one for MacOS and another for Windows 10 Pro, and another SSD M.2 on an Orico TB3 with SSD M.2 Kingspec 512GB for SAP S4 / HANA System .
Precisely because it is portable, and can be used on other machines.
But is good idea.

Hi Pastrychef,
is this generic or a specific make of macOS compatible m.2/Nvme PCIe adapter ? you haven't provided a name or link.

They are generic. M.2 slots are really just PCI-e slots in a different form factor...

I made my config.plist with the new OC 0.6.9.
Strangely the msg appears below, have you seen this before?

And in your EFI Opencore 0.6.9 it does not appear in config.plist.

check config.plist as new options are always needed when upgrading opencore
