@brandur,

Can you get the fans spinning under load?

My EVGA GTX 660 doesn't spin up when it's under load, and GPU gets hot.

I wonder if anyone else has this problem.

Using newest Nvidia Webdriver.

Hmm. I can only subjectively answer this question as in when it is hot the fan gets louder. :)

Checking in, updated my system with the Nvidia gtx 660 SC to El Capitan.

Issues:

1. Installation had to be with Nvidia injection under boot-up clover graphic setting.

2. And with clover the dual link is not set or disabled by default which meany only two video out ports will work.
To change this you have to set it to 1 in the config file to make all four display ports work.

3. About This Mac does not display any memory as it reads 0 MB. Whatever this is cosmetic or not I do not know.

All apps work swell.

Hi @brandur im trying to set up the same config as you. But with out result.

I have 660 GTX 2 GB EVGA and works fine in yosemite but in El Capitan i have black screen when it is loaded. Im installed the Nvidia Web driver and Nvidia manager app its running . I added the flags nvda=1 and duallink set to 1 and Video ports: 4 . in clover .

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Hi guys, I have this EVGA card and I'm experiencing the same behaviour, but on MacOS Sierra 10.12 PB (on MacOS Sierra DP1 it was fine).
On El Capitan I don't have this issue.
Did someone manage to get rid of that problem?

Hi guys.

Just updated directly Apple like from El Capitan to Sierra thanks to Clover.

Never experienced the black screen with my geforoce 660 2gb SC.

But I did experience that the graphic card was not fully recognized. As in, the model was the right one (660) but the ram count was zero. Only one monitor worked and the resolution was off. The new nvida driver did the same.

edit: After *adding* the multibeast sierra "installation", everything works perfectly again.

Maybe try -v to see where it stops or -x and -v.

Which system definition are you using?

Is (inject nvidia) set to false in config?

Nvidia is set to true. Should be false. You don't need video ports and vram in config for nvidia graphics.
