What drivers you use brandur?

The default drivers from the Maverick, no additional as much as I recall.
But I did had trouble, because of the Intel graphics in the CPU, I had to turn them off in the bios.

Hello! Sorry to bother, I am new to the forum and new to the Hackintosh community. I'm buying a PC next week and was highly considering the GTX 660. As you say this card is working 'flawlessly' on Mavericks 10.9.2? I am a video editor and I need CUDA working. Does it work good? Is there ANY drawbacks with this card that you're experiencing? Like hang-ups when coming back from sleep... video slowdowns, hangups, etc?

Thanks so much!!!!
Tony.

I have a ASUS GTX660 TOP (more or less the same as a Gigabyte OC ed.) and it works without any trouble at all :) Actually it works out of the box in Mavericks. In ML I had some startup trouble but was solved after some time fiddling with kexts and codes.

Awesome! :D That's very good news.. I didnt wanna spend the extra money for the 670 hehe... thanks man!!!

For my use works flawlessly. Mainly photo editing and cad drawing.
But I do not edit videos. So I can not assure you that video editing will work without flaws.
And there are drivers for CUDA that you have to install separately. You can find them on the Nvida site.

Just today updated to 10.9.3..
Works, but I have to reinstall audio and always delete kextes for intel and Ati.

Thanks a lot brandur!!! :)

@brandur,

Can you get the fans spinning under load?

My EVGA GTX 660 doesn't spin up when it's under load, and GPU gets hot.

I wonder if anyone else has this problem.

Using newest Nvidia Webdriver.

Good News.

I am running a GTX 660 (this version) and it is working out of the box with Mavericks and Yosemite.
Plugged to a 4K monitor through DisplayPort, I was able to get Retina Display quite easily.
