With only 4GB and a 920, going X58 is IMO a waste...
You'll get a much better rig on P55, and for less $ too...

Good Luck !

Thanks for reply

I am also look at your suggestion about P55, but if I go for X58 how much minimum RAM required & what about noise problem?

Does this guide work with rev 2.0?

Because I get "Nvram: Error setting variable 'boot-args' (iokit/common) could not find data" in -v -x mode.

When I push F5 after inserting the osx disc, I get ebios read error. Then I get stuck at the apple screen, with the circular thing showing it's busy. Finally I'm presented with a message in multiple languages telling me to restart the computer.

Minimum would be 1 stick (or 3 for triple-channel).

What noise problem ?

Don't know about this mobo, but the nVidia "squealing" issue is a long known one, and even unrelated to OSX.

For me, it was noticeable but not too loud... Updating to BIOS F9 IIRC further decreased that to unnoticeable levels.

Anyone has a DSDT for REV.2 of this mobo? because i can seem to get snow leopard installed the way it need to be. i followed hacktivists guide and i still can boot SL from the drive without iboot.
