build:
GA-Z77N-WIFI
i7-3770k
8 GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 RAM
128 GB OCZ Vertex 4 SSD
HD 4000 Integrated graphics

Loaded OS via Snow Leopard for Ivy Bridge > Mountain Lion UniBeast USB

After many attempts, only MultiBeast option checked was User DSDT or DSDT-free Installation. (I figured I can always go back and correct any audio or networking errors, but could be wrong on this assumption -- I just wanted it to boot)

Here are the results of different boots:

-x -v

-s

: exit

-v -f

-v -F

-s -F -f

No luck. Any thoughts?

Thanks. Drew

I see in all your pics that you have arrived at basically the same point in the boot process - the graphics initialization.
Are you using the HD4000?
What port are you connected to on the backplate if using HD4000?
Did you set, in BIOS, first init Display device to iGPU and iGPU memory to 64M?

Yes, the HD4000 graphics out the DVI port to a DVI to D-sub converter to the monitor.
Tried with HDMI to the TV and got similar results, but that was yesterday, so I could try again today...

BIOS Settings:
Init Display First: IGFX
Internal Graphics: Auto
Internal Graphics Memory Size: 64M
DVMT Total Memory Size: MAX

Thanks. Drew

Awww... Crackers!

Thanks for the tip as to where to look. I remember the SO having a similar issue with her new Mac Mini. I took her monitor and HDMI to DVI cable, plugged it in the HDMI port of my Hack, and voila! It works!

...except now I have to go buy a new monitor, and cable. Wasn't planning on that.

Thanks, GB!

Drew
