For the full rundown, follow the imgur link. Otherwise, here's QuickSmith, my future file server.

Hard drives came, now it's time to configure! Sorry, not running OSX, going FreeNAS.

I took a good number of pictures. The documentation can be found in the link. I'll be updating this over the next few weeks with progress and some in thread Pics. For now....

I still need to buy hard drives and configure. Sorry, not running OSX.
Great build regardless, I really like the look of it and what you've done with it, gives me some ideas!

And haha at [h=2]"Yay, i wired this correctly."[/h]

Thanks,
Overall I'm happy with it. My first real case mod. I tried to make the write up as entertaining as possible. I'm glad I made you lol.

If I'm loooking at this correctly... you got the inside plastic under the moterboard painted?

This must've been professionally done?

HA!, you're too kind. No I painted all of this outside. Lot of cardboard on a T.V. tray. I did at least 2 coats of paint on everything and a couple clear coats. For the plastic motherboard piece, I taped off that reflective part and used some semi-gloss krylon spray paint. All was going well until we hit a cold snap. That's when the paint started cracking. It's mostly fine (lotta sanding), but the green latch on the side panel was really cracked but at that point I was out of green paint and it was the last piece to finish, so I said "Good enough". If I didn't call this QuickSmith, I would have called it "Meh, GoodEnough".
