Freezing Caused by USB 3 External: Next Steps?

I'm experiencing some issues with freezing as well as loss of Wifi connection intermittently.

Freezes sometimes happens when moving files, installing software, or working with css animation, but not all the time.

About half the time I can hear the last couple seconds of audio repeating.

Searching the forums I have tried a few things:

  • I've upgraded to my BIOS to 9f
  • I tried removing XMP Profile 1 and running my memory at the lower speed. I've since reverted.
  • I have turned off Internal Graphics, Wake on Lan, Legacy USB, Virtualization and VT-d.
  • I've set GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates to No

Still the issue persists.

The internet connectivity issues seem to resolve themselves if I disable and enable wifi, but it happens maybe every 5 hours of operation.

Here's my multibeast settings...
