Freezes with 16Gb RAM (works with maxmem=8192)|Z97N-wifi|HD4600

Recently i set up this machine:

Moderboard: Z97N-wifi
Procesor: i7-4790K
Graphics: Integrated (HD4600)
RAM: 16Gb (8Gbx2)

Following guides of this post, i installed with chimera and i have some many freezes. Freezes not happen with bootflag "maxmem=8129", but obviusly i want take other 8Gb of RAM. Someone happened? any advice?

have you updated the bios firmware on your mobo? maybe even try the beta bios.

Yes, have F4.

EDIT: Other problem, when shutdown screen, then screen remains black (or sleep). I have to restart machine
EDIT2: seems that the problem (of freezes, with 8&16Gb, maxmem=8129 finally not work) occurs when there is USB disk connected, any solution?

Freezes solved using clover and fresh installation. Now problem is sleep, when machine sleep then needs restart. any advice? thanks!

EDIT: Finally i have installed no sleep extension and works 24h.

I have the same problem.
It must be a bug in Chimera then.
I will try Clover, too.
