I've already learned how to patch and compile. So, these "rename" patches ARE the ones I should use for proper IPGU power managment?

upd: I've applied this patch, because in my DSDT uses GFX0 naming..
https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/graphics/graphics_Rename-GFX0.txt

Thank you!

Different rename GFX0->IGPU are used depending on circumstances. The most common one used is "Rename GFX0 to IGPU".

Hint: I can tell you still haven't read the README previously linked as you're still referring to the patches by their file name instead of how they are seen in the left hand side of the Patch window after the repo has been added to MaciASL->Sources...

Don't mean to be rude, but I've told you that I've applied the brightness patch and now also your "[igpu] Rename GFX0 to IGPU" patch.. just asking if it's the only one I should apply?!..

It depends on the issue you have. "Common Patches" are clearly documented in the guide, as well as patches for specific problems and specific hardware.

These strange lines keep showing up.. and I just got a system freeze (for the second time this week) - will be booting with debug=0x100 flag from now on...

Do you have 8GB RAM installed (2 x 4gb)? Are you using kernel flag slide=0?
