[Fix] Intel HD4200/HD4400/HD4600 Mobile on Yosemite

Did you patch IOKit for the 4k display? See FAQ for more info.

OMG! Finally, Got it working now.
Thank you for your hints! :headbang:

I'll try to make a guide for this notebook when i get everything optimized.

Just as a note, because you are mod, maybe will be good to make threads more clear and add that kind of information in this thread, it's a bit confusing needing to read a lot of threads.

Lots of information in the FAQ. Marked 'Read first'. Don't know how to make it more obvious...

No problem, it's fine enough maybe its me who did not read it everything.

When i though everything was working, now i have another issue:

I'm only able to view desktop in the internal display when i have HDMI connected at same time and in mirroring mode.
Any idea about this problem? I must be able to use just internal display as this is a notebook.

I also injected EDID to no avail.

Did you set DVMT prealloc and patch the frame buffer to match?

Yes did everything as in the FAQ. Also changed in BIOS.
I'm using your config.plist for the HD4600 with that patches enabled.

Which DVMT-prealloc are you using. Make sure the patch matches.

Make sure you're using 0xa2e0008. Using 0xa260006 and patches for 0xa2e0008 won't work...

Sure it matches that's not the issue. I tested with 96Mb and 128Mb and same result.
This issue is a bit weird. Maybe the HDMI audio thingy solves this? :beachball:

Try setting the resolution in sysprefs->displays. Also try with refresh rate less than 60hz.

Also double check everything.

Did you implement backlight control?

Only able to apply 1080p, 4k (UHD) resolution not available in settings.

Backlight control not implemented yet.
I'm trying something, will also implement backlight and HDMI-audio and lest see...
If you have more ideas let me know.

That is normal... all other resolutions are scaled to 4k because 4k native would be crazy.

But you can make custom resolutions with SwitchResX.

You should double check the md5 of IOKit...
