[FIX] HD4200/HD4400/HD4600/HD5600 on 10.11+

Your config.plist is wrong. It has config.plist/Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0 instead of 0x04128086.

Read post #1.

Or refer to the Clover guide for valid plists: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Hi RehabMan,

Yes. You are right. But, before that I believe I have to add/inject some device id. What will be the kext? Where will I add that?

Previously, I added IntelGFX=0x04128086. It was not working. When I try to update AppleIntelGraphicsHD.kext in order to inject device id, I was not even able to boot.

Regards.

Only two requirements (other than normal HD4600 ig-platform-id requirements) and they are both (FakeID/IntelGFX and FakePCIID) in post #1.

There is no such thing as AppleIntelGraphicsHD.kext, and AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext is not used with Haswell. It is for 1st gen Intel HD graphics.

No need to touch any kexts provided by Apple.

Ok. ig-platform-id = 0xa260000.

Is this ok?

Regards.

0xa260006 is typically used with Haswell, but it can depend on your screen resolution. Unfortunately, it not specified in your profile as requested in the guide.

Thanks a lot RehabMan.

It is now working.

Please find the attached screenshot for your reference.

Rahabman,

Hey I've been trying to get my HD 4600 Mobile working for a week now and have gotten no where. I've reinstalled a fresh clover 3 times, but my boot still hangs at "PPGTT is Enabled" when I Inject my IntelGFX. This Laptop is the Razer Blade 2015 QHD+ with an Intel i7 4720HQ and HD 4600/Nvidia 970m 3GB (Optimus). Below I listed my Zip containing my ioreg, efi/clover, a picture of my Error, and a CPU-ID.txt if you have any other questions about my laptop.

Thanks,

~Alex

QHD+ requries patched IOKit, increased DVMT-prealloc, and framebuffer patch to match.
