Alright so I've looked around at some of the different builds and I think I'm ready to start hammering down what I want to do for my build. As a general background I'm a Audio Productions major at the local CC and I want to get a PC up so I can start working on projects. so basically I want to build a semi general purpose computer for that and for mid end gaming.
What I'd like it to do is run ProTools and some DAW's relatively smoothly (if it has a wait time for audio preview generation I'm ok with that.) I'd like for it to be able to hook up to a VPN so that I can swap files between it and a Netbook for note taking. I'd like it to run games like Team Fortress 2 smoothly. and I'd like it to have a crapton of space for audio files and picture files.
My Specs of what I think I want plus newegg links

Please help me figure out if this will work,
most of my components come from the Hackintosh 2012 build but there is a bit of customization.

Other Thoughts and stuff to add in
I'd eventually like to put on a fan controller and a card reader in the two other 3.5" slots
Another thing will be the sound card for audio and hopefully an interface for the 5.25 bay (with OOB 1/4" jack) so I can plug my Guitar and such into the front of the computer instead of running a cable to the back.

bump for edit of components

500W-600W PSU would be plenty for that build. Don't see anything that won't work. If you are going to dual-boot with Windows i would very strongly suggest a separate SSD/HDD for Windows, and make sure there is only one HDD/SSD connected to the SATA ports when you install. Also, suggest you put the Windows drive on the first SATA port off of the Z77 chip so that it is sd0 when you look at the drive in Windows installer. Windows, especially 7 & 8, will put files on the first system drive it sees, regardless of whether it is for Windows or not. It can screw up a boot sector big time.
