Hey, im very new to building hackintoshes and i wanted to build a very budget one for my mother, who is already buried deep into the Apple ecosystem (iPad, iPhone ect) and i just had a few questions regarding the hardware.
1. These are the parts i have already chosen to use
-Intel Core i3 3225 = http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008F65MR2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&
-Gigabyte H77N-WIFI Motherboard = http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/product/B009GB87KO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&
-Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB = http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/product/B004TLIEHC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&
-Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt PSU = http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/product/B009RMP2VE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&
-TP link wifi card = http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006PMX964/?tag=tonymacx86-21
are these all compatible?
2. Is ram universally compatible? I mean this in the sense that most of the pre-builds listed on this site feature 8gb at 1600mhz, and i dont need that much, would say 4gb at 1333mhz still work?
and dont worry about the case, i have an old mATX case lying around that im going to use.
Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place, this is my first time on the forum.
