I got that too. Mine was working fine for a long time, then I decided to dual-boot my computer. I tried messing with one of my partitions on my storage drive, and all of a sudden I could no longer access it. I ended up typing in a bunch of commands based on an article online, and I was able to fix it. However, ever since then, I get that error. It's annoying, but hasn't impacted anything other than my start up time. Wish I had a solution for you. I searched, and different people had mixed results. Is it messing anything else up for you?

This is the screen shoot

Solution found in 2012 by makie100

type on terminal
sudo systemsetup -setkernelbootarchitecture i386
Hit ENTER
Fix permissions [use Disk Utility] REBOOT
THAT's ALL

Thank you!
Had the same problem which your last post fixed

I noticed the file /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist was malformed
On Mavericks 10.9.4 with Multibeast 6.4.2

A Billion BIG Thanks for this info mate, this message has plagued my hackintosh for long time before tonight I stumbled over this forum and this fantastic solution :)))

This is my lucky day :))) Thanks !!!!!

Greetings from Sweden !!!

Why would you want to force 32Bit mode?

I have Snow Leopard, Mountain Lion and a Mountain Lion Bku all suffering this same fate. These installs are on one hard drive and Windows 7 is installed on its own separate drive. If I let any of these OS attempt to boot they all crash with dumps on the screen.

A while back the Windows 7 install also had access to another hard drive. It was running out of room so I imaged the partitions of the Windows7 drive and the additional data hard drive onto a newer larger hard drive. The result there is one less hard drive in the computer.
