Hi,
I have the same motherboard with a i7-8700 non-K, activated plugin-type=1 in Clover Configurator for power management.
When hitting the cpu with full load (prime95 or Cinebench r20), it turbos up to 4.3 GHz but after 20-26 seconds, it clocks down to ~3.6 while temperatures never exceed 61°C. So no thermal-throttling here.
Am I missing something or is this normal?

Nevermind… It‘s not a hackintosh problem, I‘m seeing this on Windows, too. Maybe something about power limit durations in the BIOS…
