Enable hd3000 graphics

Hello, My system is reading hd 2000 with 5mb of video ram even tho it has hd 3000. How do i enable the 3000 graphics?

dell optiplex 790
250gb western digital blue
i5 2500 3.3 quad
intel 3000 graphics via mini display port
4gb ram
240 watt psu

You are misinformed.

The i5-2500 has HD2000 graphics, not HD3000.

HD2000 is not supported. You need to change the CPU (i5-2500k has HD3000, for example), or get a supported graphics card.
