Is there any way to restart the web cam on the 8470p? My cam only works on fresh boot, once system goes to sleep and wakes no webcam is detected...

Sounds like a potential issue with USB...

Bluetooth appears to be on USB aswell, but it works fine after sleep...Just the cam

It could be on a different hub. Could be on USB3 instead of USB2. You should look at ioreg.

appears to be on same usb2 hub
before sleep vs after sleep

disappears from ioreg on wake

Nothing extra that I know of... Never even tried plugging anything USB3 in... just selected what I was told to in Probook installer for my model...

Attached ioreg with working cam. Want another one after sleep?

You're using AppleUSBXCHI for USB3.

Did you use the ProBook Installer to patch DSDT?

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.
