Hi guys,

i finally managed to get my new build working but there´s still one Issue remaining. I need to use my Focusrite Clarett 8Prex via Thunderbolt and tried a lot of things, but it just won´t work.

Do you guys have any ideas what i can try?

Drivers are installed in Windows (I have 2 hard drives - Windows and OSX)

Greetings!

+1 I'm exactly in the same boat as you right now. Although, I was hoping to get thunderbolt to work with my Clarett as well without dealing with the Windows aspect but I guess I have to. I'm gonna see what I can do and report back.

If anyone else has a solution please let us know!!

I hope they gonna support TH3 with macos sierra.

i did it the windows way and everything worked fine- but now i ran into the problem that it wont detect the clarett anymore. i also installed the TH drivers again but it´s not working anymore. has anybody a solution for this?

At the moment you need to install windows on a HDD in your hackintosh to kind of activate the thunderbolt (usb type c) ports on your motherboard. You install the drivers and after that you will be able to use your thunderbolt stuff on your hackintosh (hot swapping doens´t work).

Here is a good guide:

So right now this is the only way i guess and you need to plug in your clarett to a real mac with thunderbolt to activate the port (everytime you turn the clarett on and off)

Further questions?

Greetings
