I don’t have a copy of the 1.89 BIOS you need, but you can easily mod the 1.80 BIOS to add the necessary OPROM to support NVMe booting.

emmm... i do it before :use MMTool_5.07 add NVMeExpressDxE.ffs to EP2C602-4LD16(1.80)ROM, see picture;

save image ,then i put mod P602_4D1.80 into a USB flash drives , use

instant flash , select mod P602_4D1.80 file and continue , then my dell U2717D show blank screen but not no signal (EP2C602-4L-D16 ,128GB ECC DDR,GTX 1070 FTW), Waited for a while, no response . when i restart and it work normal with original bios . i think that original bios have protected or verified ? and how to mod again ? plz help me ,thanks very much ,sorry for my bad englist @Coool @teamawesome

That isn't the recommended way. Try this.

The E5-2680 v2 will work just fine in a dual or single socket configuration. It will have more cores but a slower frequency compared to the E5-1680 v2. Just because a CPU is dual socket capable doesn't mean it must be used with two CPU's.

Correct. ;)
