Dsdt override for eGPU

Hi RehabMan and thanks for answering

Apparently not easy enough :) I wish I was more tech savvy.
My DSDT file is attached. I hope you won't be bothered to look at it?
I don't mind making the fixes by my self. All I need is a push to the right direction.

Disassemble with SSDTs as context and you'll likely have less errors.

Use: iasl -da -dl DSDT.aml SSDT*.aml

Make sure you have DSDT and all SSDTs in the directory.

Hello there! :D I hope that some one can help me.

I have a:
asus rog g751jy
with a i7 4860
and im testing put a gt320 working on my laptop (my goal is a 1070)

I got a error code 12 so im trying a override dstd, but I allways got this erros even if the file gets untouched..

Code:
c:\iasl>iasl -oa dsdt.dsl

Intel ACPI Component Architecture
ASL+ Optimizing Compiler version 20161117-32
Copyright (c) 2000 - 2016 Intel Corporation

Compiler aborting due to parser-detected syntax error(s)
dsdt.dsl 1989: Zero
Error 6126 - ^ syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_ZERO

dsdt.dsl   9897:         }
Error 6126 - ^ syntax error, unexpected '}'

dsdt.dsl 22719:
Error 6126 - syntax error, unexpected $end and premature End-Of-File

ASL Input: dsdt.dsl - 22719 lines, 709721 bytes, 11253 keywords

Compilation complete. 3 Errors, 0 Warnings, 0 Remarks, 0 Optimizations

can anyone help me? probably if i share my file someone can compile it for me?

You did not attach the file.

Sorry my bad

EDITED: that is the original file with the QWordMemory code :

Code:
QWordMemory (ResourceProducer, PosDecode, MinFixed, MaxFixed, Cacheable, ReadWrite,
   0x0000000000000000, // Granularity
0x0000000C20000000, // Range Minimum, set it to 48.5GB
0x0000000E0FFFFFFF, // Range Maximum, set it to 56.25GB
   0x0000000000000000, // Translation Offset
0x00000001F0000000, // Length calculated by Range Max - Range Min.
   ,, , AddressRangeMemory, TypeStatic)

See guide for correct disassembly procedures:

BTW, I was able to get a clean compile from your file with some patches from my patch repo. It compiles clean with my version of iasl. The modified DSDT.dsl is attached as ZIP.

This site is for OS X and macOS, not Windows.
But the error message seems pretty clear... you're booting with secure boot enabled in BIOS.

Hi,
Aplogies for reviving this thread again, I am trying to use an AMD 6950 on
Alienware M17x R3
i7 - 2630QM Cpu 2.0Ghz
8Gb Ram
Windows 7
I am attempting dsdt override due to error 12 when installing Amd 6950 via PCI-e mini
I have 2 errors when compiling dsdt-modified.dsl
No warnings or anything just errors.
Any help would be appreciated as this is all a bit technical for me i am a bit out of my depth lol.
Thanks
