Re: EP45-UD3P F9

Sudds, have you had a chance to edit my submission yet? Not trying to hurry you, just making sure I haven't missed any messages. It's not on the DSDT database yet...

Gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3R (DDR3, only;F4c, the latest). GA-EP45C-DS3x (DDR3 or DDR2) and GA-EP45-DS3x (DDR2, only) should be similar.

All AMAC stuff and a true SATA device tree is implemented.

Installed using iBOOT and the 10.6.3 "retail" DVD, then updated to 10.6.7 using the Combo Update, finally installed the "usual suspect" stuff using MultiBeast specifying User DSDT, ALC8xxHDA and 32-bit (the latter only because I was testing with a 7200GS and not my usual 8400GS or 9500GT).

All ports are working (including both on-mobo R8111 LANs and also WiFi using a legacy PCI Broadcom card).

A good use for an old "warhorse" mobo which otherwise was shelfware rather than hardware.

Hiya folks I'm trying to setup a GA-P35-DS3L (rev 1) with bios F9, Q6600, and XFX 8800gt 256mb. Install using just regular iboot + retail snow leopard 10.6.3 goes smoothly and gives me working sound (line out, headphone, and spdif all detected), onboard ethernet works, but GPU not detected and stuck at low res. I've tried many configs such as easybeast but makes things worse, and some userdsdt with p35-ds3l rev 2 dsdts which seem to give me video, but I don't think they were for my specific card.

I still have alot to learn, but trying to get a solid system up as soon as possible for my GF who is jealous of my mac book pro :)

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Jon

just for a better understanding... will there be changes that are unique to my system? like parameters for my dvd drive i'm using or my grafic card i'm using, so that mac os will run more reliable?

I cant find DSDT for EP 45 EXTRIME, BIOS F9d,Q 9550 and 8400 GS

hi guys I've been checking out 3 guides simultaneously to find out how to install OSx on mi pc. I decided the most sanely way to do it is installing OSx on a second HDD, then install chameleon and set chameleon boot drive as priority n.1 to select the os. now, here I retrieved the DSDT with ubuntu and I'm attatching it down below but here's a question: do I need an edited DSDT or can I use the unedited version (the one I'm posting)? obviously the edited would be better but is there any problem if I just use the original one?
that's all!
here are my specs:
GA EP45-UD3L 1.0 BIOS: F4 (I didn't want to update because once I did with an other machine and I screwed it and it took a lot of effort to bring it back)
Core 2 Duo e7300 2.66ghz
2*1gb ddr2 800mhz
