(I hope this is the right section to post this, correct me if it's wrong)

So I'm trying to make my dual monitor setup work, but with no success.

I've tried everything on this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-workaround-using-intel-hd530-with-dual-monitors.214125/

The thing is, my display port won't work even if I only plug 1 monitor in. I tried this with multiple displays. ( The screen does get signal, but the screen stays black)

Hot plugging obviously doesn't work either on the DP port. HDMI is just fine and steady, I can hotswap etc.

But when I use an older cable (DP to DVI) I do get signal on both monitors, but after the loading screen the DP port shuts down both monitors. (I'm going to double check if I can run the DVI cable on a single monitor)
The HDMI monitor stays active and I can see a small bar on the top of the screen where I can also move my mouse (I'll upload some pictures) This also means that I can still type my password and get to the desktop (still with only a small bar on the top visible)

Sometimes the screen goes weird with glitchy graphics after I tried rebooting a couple of times. This is always fixed with disconnecting the power supply. Uploaded a picture of this.

I have the feeling that I first need to fix this problem before I can begin the journey to dual displays. Maybe this is the root of my dual monitors not working, idk...

I'll post my Config.plist file as an attachment along with some pictures.

My knowledge in hackintoshes and computers in general is not that big, so go easy on me ^^

Thanks in advance for the help :)

This sounds similar to the DisplayPort problem I'm having with my HD 630. Did you find a solution for it?
It might help to also add your system info to the dedicated fields in your profile, not just as a single line as you have right now: Z170i-Pro Gaming | i5 6500 | HD 530

Nope, didn't found a solution. (this is probably my fault of not doing the fixes right)

I basically gave up haha. Reason for it is because I got really stressed out and annoyed trying to fix this. While getting no where.

Same problem on HD 630 - once system is loaded I have black screen and DP is completely ignored on Z170i Pro Gaming (system running on virtual screen)
Anyone solved it?

Ok, got my DisplayPort working by applying AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer 01030303->01030403 (10.11-SKL-1912000-4_displays) patch and enabling Graphics->Inject Intel in Clover

MulitBeast/Customize/Intel HD 5xx (4 display fix)
plus Intel Graphics Fixup.
Thank you for reply, I was hoping DP would fix my flickering issues, but they got worst, on HDMI 1.4 I could at least use 2160p@30Hz, but on DP even that is flickering.
Have you seen flickering like this?
Any idea what can be causing this and possible solution?

What's interesting, DP still not working on Sierra.
What's even more interesting, I'm running Sierra for about an hour on HDMI 1.4 2160p@60Hz and so far have no flicking at all

My mistake, the 4 display fix is HD530/Skylake only. Remove config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/10.11-SKL-1912000-4_displays.
Well it does fix DP on my HD630 at Asus Z170i Pro Gaming (High Sierra only)
But I've found a better fix
Replacing <ff000000 01000000 20000000 01050900 00040000 87010000 02040a00 00040000 87010000 03060a00 00040000 87010000> to <01050900 00040000 87010000 02040a00 00040000 87010000 03060a00 00040000 87010000 ff000000 01000000 20000000> at AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer (0x19120000 three DP, credit RehabMan) fixes DP on both High Sierra and Sierra (not on El Capitan though)

Also I've managed to get rid of flickering by replacing SMBIOS from 18,3 to 17,1
