You could try an app called Hackintool it has a Disable eGPU option when generating your device properties, you will obviously need to read up on how to use the tool properly though, its not a one click answer.

I looked at it and seems like it generates a code for the config.plist file. is it possible to disable dgpu through config.plist or does it just stop macOS from showing it as detected it but it still running and consuming power?

It disables it via the config.plist.

It disables it via the config.plist.
Just tried this method and i got stuck in a boot loop using that config.plist file. Is there a full detailed guide on this method? i feel like if it was that easy to disable dgpu through hackintool there would be more tutorials on it compared to disabling it through DSDT, SSDTS

I'm going to try to change a few settings around the patch in hackintool to see if it works

Hackintool is a relatively new thing, evolving all the time. The tried and tested method of disabling egpu is preferable if done correctly.
