Hey!
Still really bad.
I'm getting a H80i v2 this week.
Hopefully it will be a lot better.:)

Make sure that the Cooler is seated correctly. Try re-applying the paste. Remove old paste.

Hey!
So, yeah, I did that, multiple times. Haha.
I just got a H80i V2 and temps are great on Windows 10!
29-35C on normal use, I don't think I ever reach 50s.
On Sierra it's not the same thing though...
It's 35s... 47s...50s...
Weird stuff...

35 to 50 isn't bad. My 3770 hovers around 50 to 51c on full load.

Hey man!
I actually read this:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/macos-native-cpu-igpu-power-management.222982/
And I tried it.
It actually did work, I'm getting some better temps. Lowest like 29.
I think it's basically the same of what you taught me, but on this one they tell ya to remove the ssdt generated by the Piker's Alpha tool.
So I did it, and yeah!
Seems like it's all good now!
Indeed this is a warm processor! I figured it was either: watercoler or (bigger case + evo 212, or some big air cooler), since the Tx3 wasn't cutting it. Well, could be some shitty thermal paste, who knows?
Now with some Artic Silver 5 and the H80i v2.

I really wanna thank you so much for all the time you spent trying to help.
I really don't think I could've done it without you.
Thanks a LOT.

Without SSDT.aml for Powermanagement your CPU will be stuck in one Power State. Not a good idea Powermanagement is important without it it can cause your hardware not to perform as it should or cause the lifespam to degrade. Not a very good idea.

Isn't this a substitute?
Maybe I misunderstood it?
Why is it that I'm getting better temps though?
I'm gonna use the PM checker. One sec.

Another thing:
In Windows, the only way to produce music is on High Performance, haha.
As in, max frequency the whole time.
I agree that changing the usage as needed might increase the CPU's life, but there's even no way around it on Windows.
Still, I'll be waiting on your thoughts about my results posted above.

Theres nothing wrong with your temps. If your temps were reaching 90c or over then thats when you need to worry. Windows is completely different to macOS so can't compare them. Z97 hardware isn't native so expect nothing but trouble. my H97N-WIFI isn't native and has issues with Powermanagement hence why its its a server now. For Native Haswel hardware better to go with Z87.
