Hi, I am new in Hackintosh.
I just completed the windows 10 installation on my dual boot system, and I noticed something, the GPU idle temperature on Catalina was much higher than on my windows 10. On macOS, the idle temperatures were about 50-57 °c , while on Windows 10, much lower at about...
Hello there,
I successfully installed Hackintosh on my new build. However, I do have an issue with the Corsair Hydro 150i Pro RGB.
I cannot see the fan speeds and also have no control over them. I'm watching the CPU temps with HWMonitor and for the fans speeds i'm using Macs Fan Control - and...

recently tried Linux Mint on my old 2008 iMac 20"
it installed fine, ran well enough, hardware worked etc.
Problem is - the iMac runs way hotter that it does on any Mac OS and,
even Win7, when slightly tweaked on the iMac, runs almost as cool.
Years ago i had overheating problems with various...
Hey guys, how's everyone?
So, I've got an i7 4790K, and it kinda runs hot.
I dualboot Win10 and Sierra.
One thing keeping me from really using Sierra is that I've found some issues with heat.

Hi all,

Hi All,
I've been running Linux without any problems, however when running macOS Sierra my temperatures are out of control. I've tried reading up on generating SSDTs, playing with "Enable C states" and "Enable P states" in clover, but none of this seems to help. It definitely isn't a cooling...

Hi,

My CPU temperature is normally around 35 when 99% idle. But once awhile (every 20 - 60 minutes), the CPU temperature will increase about 10-15c within 2-3minute. CPU fans will then speed up. After 2-3 minutes, CPU temperature goes back to mid-30 range and fans will then slow down.
This is my...
