Hi there,

I have scanned the web for a while, now to disable auto-mount of my windows SSD when I am running OSX. More or less, all guides suggested to use either of the two options with fstab

a) LABEL=<disk label> none ntfs rw,noauto

or

b) UUID=NUMBER none ntfs rw,noauto

Both don't yield results. The drive always gets mounted on reboot. Unmounting using disk utility is no problem. Any ideas?

any solution yet?

No, unfortunately not.

If I a) knew what that is and b) how to get it, I possibly would :)

Oh, Ok that. But there's just one or two lines in that file according to several manuals here in the forum... I'd have to get back into the whole process to even be able to find that file...

EDIT: I mean it's a while ago I tried, and I completely forgot how I did it. Have to get back into this some time.

/etc of what? Sorry, I am in the middle of something completely different...
