Hi, man, here's my ioreg file. thanks for looking at it.

As far as I can tell here, power management looks to be configured well.

What is the issue with sleep?

yes, I've tried using sleep, but a fully charged battery was emptied after about 4 hours on sleep with mac os.

Make sure it is actually entering sleep... (blinking power LED?)

Hi, it doesn't blink, but the led doesn't blink when putting the laptop to sleep in windows too.

By the way, probably my main concern right now is adjusting the screen brightness and getting ethernet to work, could I ask for pointers on how to solve these?

Haswell Brightness Fix:
DSDT Patches from here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch

Apply:
"Rename GFX0 to IGPU"
"Brightness Fix (Haswell)"
- rename patch must be done first and to all DSDT/SSDT that contain references to GFX0 that you're including in your final SSDT set
- Brightness patch must be done to the DSDT or SSDT that contains the definition for Device GFX0 (search for 'Device (GFX0)'
- Place DSDT and SSDT (if necessary) into a place where the bootloader will load them. For Clover, EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched (DSDT.aml, SSDT-x.aml where 'x' is a number). For Chameleon, /Extra/ssdt.aml, /Exra/ssdt-1.aml, /Extra/ssdt-2.aml, etc.

Install: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Backlight

Ethernet: What Ethernet chipset do you have? Use DPCIManager->PCIList to find out.

Hi I've been trying to do your instructions but I can't even begin with it as my extracted original DSDT couldn't compile even without any patches yet. I've even tried extracting it through ubuntu but with just the same result.

By the way, my ethernet controller is Realtek RTL8106E-US.

Post your origin folder in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/

I'm sorry but I'm not using Clover
