Hi all,
I'm thinking about treating myself once I pass the Series 7 (god willing) to a new computer. I want to build a hackintosh for use as a DAW with logic X. I'm thinking an i7 4790k, and at-least 16gigs of RAM too. The main questions I have are should I look into a high quality motherboard?? I was looking to spend around $150, but i'm willing to put some more money into an MB if its worth it.
Also, will a GPU increase my performance, or can i use the integrated graphics with better results. I plan on using 2 monitors. I've heard conflicting arguments.
