Thank you!

Now, what I don't understand is, how can this guy get even better results with the same App on the Write Speeds then my SSD RAID-0? If I look @cuylertech's results, they are similar with my SSD in SingleMode.

I'm really jealous. Good job! Have you done Unigine benchmarks? Wanna see how the card performs. Hope you get a Golden Build on this.

Here is the Unigine

Hi,

we have contact some days ago with pm you know?

can you explain me in detail how i have to go to get lion running?
can i use the iboot+multibeast information?
did i realy have to remove my ram to 4gb?

when did i have to insert the DSDT File?
and which bios version u use?

JackSlain,
You need to do your research on the Forum. See my signature block for the tonymacx86 installation guides and recommended builds (and components) that are proven to work. The tonymacx86 official guides tell you how to install Mac OS X in a step-by-step manner. I recommend you print out the guide(s) and check off each step as you accomplish the step task; this trick will help you make sure you didn't miss any step. :thumbup:

See the last link in my signature block for the Sand Bridge installation guide.

See the UniBeast Guide link in my signature block for the Lion installation guide.

tonymacx86's blog is a wealth of information, too. (See the Resources pull down menu at the top, right on this page.)

Lastly, re-read the Forum Rules as they contain Forum Policy. viewtopic.php?f=54&t=32372 (You did read all of them when you registered, didn't you? :wave: )

Post some pics from inside too? :geek:

OK. I see your confusion. This is how you're suppose to install 10.6.8:
  • - Install Snow Leopard using the iBoot + MultiBeast Guide through Step 3-4;
    - Run UpdateHelper and reboot (Steps 3-4a & 4b);
    - Resume installing Snow Leopard at Step 3-5 in the iBoot + MultiBeast Guide.

So, the iBoot + MultiBeast Guide's Step 3 should be accomplished in this order:
  • 3-1. Open Finder and navigate to your Snow Leopard drive.
    3-2. Download the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Combo Update
    3-3. Download MultiBeast & UpdateHelper
    3-4a. Run UpdateHelper
    3-4b. Reboot
    3-5. Mount MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.8.dmg
    3-6. Install MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.8.pkg
    3-7. Upon completion, the installer will ask you to reboot. DO NOT REBOOT.
    3-8. Switch to the already open MultiBeast. If it closes, just re-open it.
Continue with Step 4 - MultiBeast.

You need to run MulitBeast after the installation of 10.6.8 before rebooting. However, not to worry. Since you already have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 loaded, boot up with iBoot, boot into Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and now run MulitBeast. Finally, after the MulitBeast completes installing the kexts and drivers, reboot w/o iBoot, and you should be able to boot directly into Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Good luck!
