Convince me to do a new build...

I'm currently running with a Haswell-based (i5-4590) hackintosh with 32GB RAM (DDR3) and a GTX 750 for graphics. I don't game, do music production, or (much) video editing. My system is stable, fast, and seems to be serving me well. Yet I'm kind of itching to build a new system. I have no real reason to do so, but I like to tinker and stay up-to-date.

Should I:

1. Go ahead and plunk down the cash and build a Kaby Lake system?
2. Wait for the next generation?
3. Leave well enough alone?

If (1), what should I do with my current system? It's not as if I have money burning a hole in my pocket, I think this is more of a feeling of being left behind and getting behind on technology - things move so fast.

So what do you think?

One other point worth mentioning is that having another system will give me a second system (my current one) so that I'll have more opportunity to help with testing and troubleshooting new releases of Multibeast, Clover, etc.

Wait for the Cannonlake 10nm chips, they're just around the corner. Should see some significant performance per watt gains this time around, I hope...

OK, that's good advice - I didn't realize they were that close (it seems like Kaby Lake just dropped).
