Before attempting to edit the DSDT for my Gigabyte MB so audio would work in Mountain Lion,
I loaded the DSDT - DSDT-GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3-F9.aml - into the DSDT editor (from olarila.com)
and attempted to compile.
This resulted in the following errors (+ 1 remark)
Lines
2926 Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 16 bits, Field: 8 bits)
2928 " " "
3021 "
3023 "
3690 Remark Effective AML package lenght is zero
The option to "Fix Errors" does nothing. I made the audio-fix edits anyway, and attempted to compile
to determine whether there were additional issues. There were not, but the above errors remain, so the
audio patch can't be made.
I tried the pre-audio-edit procedure with the F10 Bios DSDT - same errors types.
Any suggestions? Thanks
