Before attempting to edit the DSDT for my Gigabyte MB so audio would work in Mountain Lion,
I loaded the DSDT - DSDT-GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3-F9.aml - into the DSDT editor (from olarila.com)
and attempted to compile.

This resulted in the following errors (+ 1 remark)

Lines

2926 Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 16 bits, Field: 8 bits)
2928 " " "
3021 "
3023 "
3690 Remark Effective AML package lenght is zero

The option to "Fix Errors" does nothing. I made the audio-fix edits anyway, and attempted to compile
to determine whether there were additional issues. There were not, but the above errors remain, so the
audio patch can't be made.

I tried the pre-audio-edit procedure with the F10 Bios DSDT - same errors types.

Any suggestions? Thanks

If the DSDT is error free then you will be able to compile and it will work.
It ok to have warning. Attach the untouched DSDT file i look at it.

Thanks. DSDT for my MB attached

search3000, The DSDT file you have attached is from the tonymac database. There is nothing wrong with it. Download a fresh copy and use it. Remarks and warning are not going to effect.
