I have gigabyte Z87m-d3h motherboard and i5-4440 processor.. can u tell me if its compatible or not. Coz i try to install mavericks. but the circle at apple logo freezes and nothing happens.. plz guide.

the boot flag doesnt work .. what might be the problem. ?
i dont have a graphic card too and the MB and processor are compatible as per tonymacs guide

try using the boot flag -v and let us know where it stops.

Looking at your screen have you got windows on another disk? if you have, try installing OSX again without the windows disk connected until you finish the install - Good Luck.

did try that .. but it still stucks at the spinning apple logo/. the spinning wheel gets stuck at apple logo.

Basic question I know but how did you format the drive for the install? the reason I asked is, from your screen shot I see a 'NTFS-Fs ERROR'.

drive in the sense means, USB ? well i did it with mac os journaled.
