I'm having the same issue. I've double checked my nvram drivers and everything seems fine. My clover boot loader loads the stock them but with the infamous black and yellow lined icons. Any chance you could point me in the right direction @RehabMan?

maybe because there is no mention of theme in your config.plist

Not sure what the heck I did to get rid of that. It did this after updating to Mojave. Everything else works great. Any insight into how to fix this?

you could go crazy and use clover configurator to enable this :)

Woah woah woah. Thats crazy talk.

Thats what I use. I'm a bit confused on where or how in clover though. Obviously I can see them in theme editor. Whats your method, party animal?

i don't use it that much (as it tends to break things on laptops)

but if you open your config.plist and navigate to gui you should see the option:
392295

and just pop the name of the theme in there

Dang. That didn't work so I went back to my very first working plist and copied that section over to my current one and still nothing. So I trimmed down the drivers section in clover after finding some redundancies and I gained the auto select function in Boot Loader back. I also copied the original themes folder over and then added my themes back in one by one. The culprit was likely a combo of things but I noticed in the boot log that 1920x1080 was invalid so I switched it 1620. I can load other themes now but the text are missing. Surely I can figure that out. The one that troubles me is why I still get the yellow/black line icons with Embedded. New plist and boot.log if you're interested. Riveting, I know.

Update: Dumb A$$. There's no icon folder for Embedded.
