I need some help: I upgraded to lion a couple of weeks ago with no major issues. Yesterday my computer wouldn't boot and I found that the SSD was having issues. Long story short, time machine wasn't updated when Lion came and the last backup was from April. In panic mode, I wasn't thinking clearly and was only able to download the files from OS partition to another drive before formatting the SSD. I've tried a variety of ways to get back to my "old" install but no luck. I can boot to my "old" install on the drive I copied to, but when I copy the files back to the SSD, chimera "can't see" it when I select it to boot. I am able to put a clean 10.7 on the SSD, but I'd kinda like to avoid the hassle. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
