I just tried putting the config.plist through sanity checker and I'm getting issues that shouldn't be there. could I perhaps ask you to check that out as well?
Run ocvalidate then compare with sample.plist and fix the errors (88).

check with the sample.plist to see anything that needs changing or adding

this is a usb 2.0 installer

try all ports on your system

best to start with Catalina first, then do this:

so I do have Catalina up and running and I'm looking to upgrade it but I do have an issue with Catalina as well. the system won't boot without the usb macOS installer stick. I have gone through forums and have tried almost everything I could find but I still can't get it done. tried copying the EFI folder, new installation but no luck. could that be an issue preventing me from upgrading?
