Hello,

so I have Ubuntu 11.10 installed and now I wanna dual-boot (or single boot, IDC) with Mac OSX 10.7
So I got someone to create the boot USB with the 10.7 app I bought in the App Store. I followed this guide: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/ ... using.html

Everything went fine but I can't get it to start. It displays boot0: done
Nothing else, only boot0: done

What else can I do? I'm kinda experienced with OSX (have had a iMac before) and quite experienced with Linux. How can I fix this?

My PC is a HP Pavilion p6580, 6 GB DDR3 RAM, nVidia GT230 video card 1 GB GDDR3 VRAM, Intel Core i3-540 3.06 GHz and my motherboard is the MSI MS-7613 (which is compatible according to the wiki here).

How can I get it to boot past boot0?

What kind of hard drive do you have? I'm having same problem with Seagate 1tb.

Thanks
J

Okay, well, mine is a SeaGate 1TB too indeed.

Thanks, but the boot fix didn't help. Problem still persists :(

Are your BIOS set correctly?

Have you tried the standalone Chimera package?

Yes, BIOS is set correctly. I have no idea how to install the Chimera-package. rBoot didn't boot so...

Use Unibeast to access the HDD, download and install Chimera from the Downloads section, reboot and remove Unibeast stick.

But how can I access the HDD with Unibeast if Unibeast hangs at boot0:done ?

Re-create the Unibeast stick. Chimera or the installer was not installed properly.
