Hi, I'm newcomer so sorry for nubing.

I just build fresh hackintosh using Gigabyte h87m d3h motherboard

System boots nicely but the audio won't work.
In some thread there was advice to install voodoo hda so i did and after that multibeast said that it was installed with error and won't work.
The audio actually doesn't work and voodoo pane in system preferences is grey.

So I decided to delete it. Went to library/extensions and there is no any voodoo containing kext. The same is in library/preferencepane.

How do I get rid of that voodoo hda?

go to

/System/Library/Extentions - and remove VoodooHDA.kext

then go to system settings right click VoodooHDA pref pane and remove it.

And then remove VoodooHdaSettingsLoader.app from where ever you've placed it.

Reboot and you're good to go.

NOTE : Perhaps you should remove /S/L/E/ "AppleHDA.kext" and see if VoodooHDA will work (BACK IT UP!!)

G'luck

Yes! Thank you.

My bad, I didn't actually access the system/library, just /library.

But in the end of the day I deleted applehda and run kext utility to install applehdadisabler and run multibeast to get voodoohda. Everything works fine for now.

Again thanks for help guys!

P.S. Got another problem, maybe there is an easy solution.

Copy/paste and drag files don't work on my HDD

My System is on my SSD, which works with "Copy/paste and drag files" functions fine.

What can be wrong?

Let me take a wild guess ...
Are the other drives (NOT THE SSD) formatted in NTFS perhaps ??? :)

I remember having the same problem in my first build.

I'd go with http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/
it'll allow your to handle NTFS drives.

Hope this helps.
G'luck!!

Yes, that was the issue and I had used the same advice you gave) Tuxera works fine.
