Can I use this CPU Intel core i7 4820K

Hi guys,

Im planning on building my first hackintosh, and I was wondering if it really matters what cpu you use as long as it fits in the motherboard. Im planning on buying an Intel core i7 4820k, should that work?

Personally I am not sure, but I really doubt it would cause an issue. If I am not mistaken, it is the motherboard,video, and sound that can be a issue. If it was an AMD I would say it would be issue. But maybe others will answer you
