Your intel chip computer should work under OS X. Use the Vanilla Clover method with the OsxAptioFix(es) to create an El Capitan installer of version 10.11.4 or 10.11.5. If you do not have access to a Mac to create it, research the iBoot Legacy and Multibeast method for Snow Leopard, to create the USB. Install using the UEFI settings, and do not inject graphics. Boot with the flag of nv_disable=1. Install OS X to your GPT-formatted hard disk. After, use Multibeast and Clover to install all recommended drivers.
