Hi, looking at the current status of imacs I decided that a way to go is to build my very own
hackintosh. I am wondering whether the specs I came up with will be difficult to get OS X
working with.
I am going to use this computer for Illustrator/Sketch and Photoshop. Perhaps some
simple animations as well, Principle and After Effects. I am aiming to work with two displays, one full HD
and the 2nd one 4k.

The spec I came up with looking at guides:

Motherboard: ASUS- Z170M- PLUS
CPU: i5 6600k
RAM:Crucial 16gb Ballistix Sport LT CL16@2400mhz (single stick)
GPU: Here I am not sure since I am not going use this computer to play games,
Gigabyte GTX960 OC or 970/980
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250gb
HDD: Seagate 500gb/1TB

This one looked pretty similar to what I am planning to build, but I got two questions. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...k-asus-z170m-plus-r9-280-fusion-drive.182949/

I would build almost the same like in the the thread linked by me, but I would change two things:

gpu to GTX 960-80
2x4gb ram => 16gb ram single stick.

As for ram, do various brands work differently for hackintosh? To my understanding it should not make a huge difference whether I go with Crucial or Corsair.
Correct me if I am wrong
