Bluetooth mouse and keyboard dual-boot linkkey sync problem (OS X, Ubuntu 14.04)

I have synced up bluetooth in Ubuntu 14.04 then OS X (El Cap) second followed by finding the "linkkey" file at /private/var/root/Library/Preferences/blued.plist on OS X

next I flipped all the numbers in reverse pairs and added them to my cd /var/lib/bluetooth/a8:86:dd:a4:d6:f8/linkkeys in Ubuntu but its not working for me.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
