Tried Big Sur direct upgrade from Catalina and direct USB install. Installation goes thru. But, after reboot no MacOS Boot disk, only " boot install....via preboot. If click on this (boot install....via preboot", clover shows apple logo for a one-two seconds, then reboots.

When booted thru a Clone (Catalina), I see that the Big Sur is installed on the original SSD.

Hardware: MB Gigabyte z390 Aorus pro wifi; I7-9700 K CPU; Sapphire nitro RX 580 GPU; Samsung 907 EVO m2. ssd.

Hi there.

Which version of Clover are you using?

Try OpenCore bootloader until Clover is updated for the latest Big Sur release - which is causing a few issues generally.

Yes, I spend whole evening today reading the OC guide. Will try OC bootloader, in a few days, once I am confident, I know what I am doing. Thanks.
