Best CPU Fan for ~ $50?

I want a new CPU cooler. I want to be able to push my i7 930 to around 3.2 ~ 3.5 ghz and have nice temps. The hard part is my budget is around 50 dollars. What are your recommendations?

You're looking for a new one? What are you currently using? Lnx2Mac highly recommends the Scythe Mugen-2 Rev.B. as do many others on this forum. It can be found for under $50 on Amazon or Newegg.

I am currently using this:

with arctic silver 5 thermal paste

Idle I usually egt around 45C, and on load around 75C.

I want to lower those as much as possible without going over 50-55 dollars.

I can recommend the Coolermaster V8 - I average 37-38 deg C at idle and rarely see over 55 at load. This is in steamy Bangkok with ambient temps of 26-27 deg and my i5 mildly overclocked to 3.2ghz.

I am using one on my OC'ed i7 870 @ 3.7GHz. Idles low 40's and full load @ upper 60's. Under normal use, it rarely goes over mid 50's.

I highly endorse the Mugen-2 Rev.B . It lowered my CPU temps by 15 degrees from the stock cooler. I have a i5-750 overclocked to 3.2 GHz. At idle my temp is 37 degrees. At full load, it only gets up to 54 degree.
