After some testing of combinations of kexts, dsdt's, and smbios definitions I was able to get this.

this is beautiful!!

can you share your kext combination, SMBIOS, dsdt I would like to try on my own thank you

I need to make sure I can distribute the kexts I am using before I upload them, but I will share my DSDT and SMBIos. I chose to use the MacBook Pro 8,2 SMBIOS because I like it saying 15" MacBook Pro in the system preferences.

First, this was a GeekBench 64-bit test for Lion. I only have had this happen twice, because since then I have gotten in the 66xx to 67xx range. My Snow Leopard scores are considerably lower. I always seem to get 56xx to 58xx. I even switched out the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext from SL to Lion in hopes of that helping, but no luck! If anyone knows a solution for this I would love to increase my SL geekbench.

Second, the kexts I am using are from an experimental installer given by @BKRibbs. Unless he says it's cool, then I can't distribute them. I really am sorry. From his posts in the threads it seems like it is close to being released.

I am not sure what you mean for the graphics lines thing. Are you asking if I needed to put the Device ID thing in my org.chameleon.boot.plist? If so, I did that to test if this makes my lines stop.

The thing that I noticed right away about my increase in Lion performance was the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext. Do you have the most recent Lion one? If not, I would suggest downloading @BKRibbs most recently released pack (I think it's 2.5.11 or something like that) and trying that out.

Good luck for now!

@gerard71 I actually did not do anything to my DSDT. I used the one from the 3.0.0 installer and actually I just upgraded to the one from the i5-2410/2430 thread and now I am getting about 100 points higher.

Good luck!

after a good old slog with a set of screwdrivers and some paste got my 4530s nearly as fast as my desktop just a weeeee bit pleased with it :D ..
